Title: FOIA Regulations Update, Phase I 
Abstract:

The Environmental Protection Agency is developing a rule to revise certain parts of its Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) regulations, 40 CFR part 2, subpart A, which were last updated in 2002, to correct obsolete information, and to implement changes pursuant to the OPEN Government Act of 2007, the OPEN FOIA Act of 2009, and the FOIA Improvement Act of 2016. This rule is the first of two rulemakings (Phase I) that EPA is undertaking to update its FOIA regulations.
