Abstract:
On October 10, 2018, the Agency received a petition requesting that the substance commonly called chitosan, CAS # of 9012-76-4, be added to the list of active ingredients eligible for EPA's Minimum Risk Pesticide Exemption, 40 CFR 152.25(f)(1). On April 4, 2019, the Agency received an amendment to the petition to also add chitosan to the minimum risk pesticide inert ingredient list at 40 CFR 152.25(f)(2). This rule will propose adding chitosan, CAS # of 9012-76-4, to the list of active ingredients eligible for EPA's Minimum Risk Pesticide Exemption, 40 CFR 152.25(f)(1), and to the list of inert ingredients in 40 CFR 152.25(f)(2). |
