Title: Amendments to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards for Tires 
Abstract: This notice seeks public comment on NHTSA's effort to update several safety standards for passenger vehicle tires. Specifically, NHTSA seeks comment on the effectiveness and alternatives of the tire strength test (plunger energy), the bead unseated resistance test, tire endurance test for today's passenger vehicle tires, and other tire-related topics.
