Title: How Best to Simplify Filing Statements of American Fisheries Act Citizenship: Policy and Regulatory Review | |
Abstract:
Through this rulemaking, MARAD is asking whether accepting other statements of citizenship would reduce costs and or administrative burdens placed on program participants currently filing Affidavits of Citizenship on an annual basis. We believe that the filing of an alternative statement to the Affidavit of Citizenship may reduce the administrative burden and costs associated with filing annually. |
