Title: Definition of Unmarked Grave for VA Memorialization Purposes | |
Abstract:
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) amends its regulations related to the provision of government-furnished headstones, markers, and medallions. These final amendments would clarify eligibility for headstones, markers or medallions, would reorganize and simplify current regulatory language, and would also define the term unmarked grave to assist VA personnel in making consistent decisions when reviewing claims for headstones or markers. |
