Title: Determinations Regarding Third Party Testing of Manufactured Fibers | |
Abstract:
Section 14(i)(3) of the Consumer Product Safety Act requires the Commission to seek opportunities to reduce the cost of third-party testing requirements consistent with assuring compliance with any applicable children's product safety rule. Staff is preparing for Commission consideration a briefing package with a draft notice of proposed rulemaking (NPRM) regarding third-party testing of certain manufactured fibers for the ASTM F963 elements and the specified phthalates. |
