Title: Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations: Two-Year Administrative Funding Availability and Substantial Burden Waiver Signatory Requirements | |
Abstract:
This rule revises Federal regulations for the Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR) in 7 CFR part 253 on the period of availability of FDPIR administrative funds to align with statutory changes made by section 4003 of the Agriculture Improvement Act of 2018 (Pub. L. 115-334, the 2018 Farm Bill). Additionally, this rule also revises Federal regulations in 7 CFR part 253 to allow Indian Tribal Organizations to determine the proper Tribal agency or departmental head that oversees FDPIR to be the signatory when applying for an administrative match waiver based on substantial burden as authorized by section 4003(a) of the 2018 Farm Bill. |
