Title: Modification to Regulation Concerning the Filing of Importer Reimbursement Certifications | |
Abstract:
The Department of Commerce (Commerce) Enforcement and Compliance (E&C) unit proposes to modify its regulation requiring an importer to file a certification indicating whether it has been reimbursed for antidumping or countervailing duties for relevant imports of subject merchandise, also referred to as entries. The rule, if adopted, will modify 19 CFR 351.402(f)(2) to clarify that, for all entries subject to antidumping duties, the importer must file its certification in either proper electronic form or paper form in accordance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection's requirements. This rulemaking is done in furtherance of the International Trade Data System (ITDS). |
