Title: Clarifications and Refinements to the 232 Exclusions Process | |
Abstract:
This final rule makes clarifications to the process for requesting exclusions from the duties and quantitative limitations on imports of aluminum and steel discussed in three Department of Commerce ("the Department") interim final rules implementing the exclusion process authorized by the President as part of the action he took to adjust imports under Section 232 of the Trade Expansion Act of 1962, as amended ("232”). This final rule make changes to address any remaining comments received on those interim final rules that have not yet been address in previous rules and to make improvements based on the experience of managing the 232 exclusion process. |
