Title: Amendment to Licensing Policy for Items Controlled for Crime Control Reasons | |
Abstract:
The Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) is amending the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) by revising, inpart, the licensing policy for items controlled for crime control reasons (CC), which is designed to promote the observance of human rights throughout the world. BIS also is amending theEAR to provide that BIS will consider human rights concerns in reviewing license applications for items controlled for reasons other than CC reasons, except for items controlled for short supply resons. |
