Title: Voluntary Education Programs
Abstract:

The Department of Defense is proposing to amend its Voluntary Education Programs regulation at 32 CFR part 68 to remove the requirement that educational institutions have a DoD installation student population of at least 20 military students before it can be authorized access on a DoD installation that is not overseas for the purpose of providing academic counseling and to provide student support services to students of the institution. The rule is necessary to implement the legal requirements of 10 U.S.C. 2005, 2006a, and 2007. The amendment of 32 CFR part 68 supports a recommendation of the DoD Regulatory Reform Task Force.
