Title: Privacy Exemption Rule for Counterintelligence Activities
Abstract:

The purpose of Counterintelligence (CI) Activities is to collect information that is used to access counterintelligence activities. Information is used to assign, categorize, and administratively track foreign travel, contacts, and incidents or concerns to prevent adversaries from exploiting sensitive information, operations, programs, personnel, and resources. This process allows qualified and designated CI personnel to prepare and pursue inquiries involving counterintelligence activities that safeguards America and its allies from Weapons of Mass Destruction including Chemical, Biological, and Radiological, and Nuclear and high yield explosives.
