Title: ●Civilian Employment and Reemployment Rights for Service Members, Former Service Members and Applicants of the Uniformed Services
Abstract:

This final rule will remove the DoD rule that administers its responsibilities under the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA), which duplicates DoD's internal policy assigning DoD responsibilities and providing internal procedures for informing Service members, former Service Members, and individuals who apply for uniformed service of their civilian employment and reemployment rights, benefits, and obligations. Accordingly, DoD will remove this part and publish a notice in the Federal Register informing the public of administrative information concerning a request for pertinent information regarding periods of uniformed service. This removal supports a recommendation of the DoD Regulatory Reform Task Force.
