Title: Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants; Listing Determination and Critical Habitat Designation for the Central Texas Mussels

We will make a listing determination for the false spike (Fusconaia mitchelli), Texas fatmucket (Lampsilis bracteata), Texas fawnsfoot (Truncilla macrodon), Texas pimpleback (Cyclonaias petrina), Guadalupe orb (Cyclonaias necki), and Guadalupe fatmucket (Lampsilis sp. cf. bracteata) under the Endangered Species Act. These six mussel species are found in central Texas. The Texas fatmucket, Texas fawnsfoot, and Texas pimpleback are currently candidates for listing. We will also propose to designate critical habitat for these species, if prudent and determinable.
