Title: Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants; Reclassification of the Hawaiian Stilt
Abstract:

We are reassessing the listing status of the Hawaiian stilt (Himantopus mexicanus knudseni), which is currently listed as endangered under the Endangered Species Act. Our proposed determination will be based on the best available information as of the time of publication. Based on our assessment, we may propose to downlist or delist the species, unless we determine no change in its status is warranted. This bird is found in Hawaii.
