Abstract:
The Department of State proposes to amend 22 CFR 51.21 to provide for submission of the DS-82 passport renewal application online. This rulemaking is expected to cut the burden for the DS-82 application form in half, from 40 minutes to 20 minutes. This rulemaking is a deregulatory action within the meaning of Executive Order 13771. |
