Title: Indian Education Discretionary Grants Programs--Professional Development Program | |
Abstract:
The Department of Education (Department) proposes to amend regulations in 34 CFR part 263 implementing the Professional Development Program under title VI of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 (ESEA) to implement changes to the ESEA made by the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). The amendments would reflect changes necessitated by ESSA to existing regulatory provisions to make those provisions fully accurate in accordance with the statute. Such changes would include defining new program terms in accordance with the statute. We would also delete provisions that are outdated, and we would update citations and cross references. |
