Title: Special Programs for Indian Children--Demonstration Grants | |
Abstract:
The Department will issue these proposed regulations for Indian Education Demonstration Grants that reflect the Secretary’s priorities and lessons learned from implementing the program. The Indian Demonstration Grant proposed new rules that would support applicant efforts to increase educational service options available to American Indian and Alaska Native students and their families. Applicants addressing the proposed priority on education choice would have the flexibility to determine which academic outcomes are most critical for students in their communities, including students with disabilities, in the overall effort to promote college and career readiness. |
