Title: Test Procedures for Commercial Refrigeration Equipment | |
Abstract:
Pursuant to the 7-year lookback provision in Energy Policy and Conservation Act (EPCA) (42 U.S.C. 6314(a)(1)(A)), the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is evaluating the test procedures for commercial refrigeration equipment to determine whether amended test procedures for CRE would more accurately or fully comply with the requirements in EPCA that test procedures: 1) be reasonably designed to produce test results which reflect energy use during a representative average use cycle; and 2) not be unduly burdensome to conduct. The purpose of the RFI is to seek input to aid in the development of the technical and economic analyses regarding these issues. |
