Title: ●Secondary Flightdeck Barriers
Abstract: This rulemaking would require installation and usage of a barrier, in addition to the flightdeck door, that would impede access to the flightdeck any time the flightdeck door was opened. The action would be applicable to new applications for new type certificates of transport category airplanes, as well as newly manufactured airplanes entering part 121 service (3) years after the effective date of the rule.
