Title: Pedestrian Safety Global Technical Regulation 
Abstract:

This rulemaking would provide requirements to protect pedestrian heads impacting vehicle hoods. NHTSA initiated this rulemaking following the establishment of the Global Technical Regulation (GTR) by the UNECE´s World Forum for the Harmonization of Vehicle Regulations (WP.29) in November 2008.
