Abstract:
This notice responds to an October 25, 2016, petition for rulemaking from the Truck Trailer Manufacturers Association requesting amendments to the fuel efficiency standards and greenhouse gas emissions standards for medium and heavy-duty trailers. NHTSA granted the petition on August 17, 2017, and with the Environmental Protection Agency, is commencing a joint rulemaking proceeding. |
