Title: Reduction in Force Regulations | |
Abstract:
CNCS is implementing reduction-in-force regulations to clarify its alternative personnel system under section 195(b)(3)(A) of the National and Community Service Act of 1990, 42 U.S.C. 12651f. CNCS’s proposed RIF regulations will describe the process and procedures to effectuate a RIF and establish: 1) the primary management and professional positions, roles and responsibilities in the different administrative and business units that will be instrumental in administering the RIF process, 2) the steps for developing a plan and vetting process complete with a business purpose, budget, and a timeline to implement the RIF process, and 3) procedures to develop a communication plan for the RIF. |
