Title: ●Release of Technology to Standards Organizations  
Abstract:

The Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) is amending the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) to clarify the applicability of the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) to releases of technology for standards setting or development in standards organizations. This final rule adds a new section to specifically make such releases not subject to the EAR.
