Abstract:

Consistent with President Donald J. Trump’s July 24, 2020 announcement of a change in U.S. policy regarding the export of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) is amending the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)’s licensing review policy with respect to certain UAS that are controlled for Missile Technology (MT) reasons.
