Title: ●Updating of Country Groups and Removal of certain License Exceptions; Proposed rule
Abstract:

In this rule, the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) proposes to amend the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) by restructuring and streamlining the current Country Group structure used to determine license requirements for items exported, reexported or transferred (in-country) that are subject to the EAR.  BIS is proposing these changes to better align and more accurately reflect the current national security, foreign policy, or proliferation-related concerns of the United States Government.
