Title: Manufacture and Sale of Decorations, Medals, Badges, Insignia: Commercial Use of Heraldic Designs and Heraldic Quality Control Program 
Abstract:

This rule revises the Department of the Army's policies and procedures for manufacturing and selling military insignia for the Armed Forces. This rule outlines the Army's policy governing the manufacture, commercial sale, reproduction, possession, and wear of military decorations, medals badges, insignia, and their components and appurtenances. It also establishes the Heraldic Quality Control Program to improve the appearance of the Army by controlling the quality of heraldic items purchased from commercial sources. This revision supports a recommendation from the DoD Regulatory Reform Task Force.
