Title: Investigating and Processing Certain Noncontractual Claims and Reporting Related Litigation | |
Abstract:
This action will remove a part of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) last updated June 3, 1974 (39 FR 19470), describing Department of Defense (DoD) policy for investigating and processing claims and related litigation addressing the loss, damage, destruction, or theft of government property. It has been determined this rule is unnecessary, outdated, and can be removed from the CFR. This removal will support a recommendation from the DoD Regulatory Reform Task Force. |
