Title: Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants; Removal of the Gray Wolf from the List of Endangered and Threatened Wildlife | |
Abstract:
We are removing the gray wolf entities in the lower 48 United States and Mexico, except for the Mexican wolf (Canis lupus baileyi), that are currently on the List of Endangered and Threatened Wildlife. The best available scientific and commercial data establish that the gray wolf entities in the lower 48 United States do not meet the definitions of a threatened species or an endangered species under the Endangered Species Act. |
