Title: Regulations Implementing the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES); Technical Revisions Following CoP16, CoP17, and CoP18 | |
Abstract:
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service will revise the regulations that implement the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) by incorporating certain technical, noncontroversial provisions adopted at the sixteenth through eighteenth meetings of the Conference of the Parties (CoP16 through CoP18) to CITES and clarifying and updating certain other provisions. This rule will help those affected by CITES, such as U.S. businesses and individuals traveling abroad, to understand how to conduct lawful international trade. |
