Title: ●Asylum Ineligibility Due To COVID-19 
Abstract:

This rule temporarily (for at least 90 days) amends existing Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Department of Justice (DOJ) (collectively, the Departments) regulations to provide that all aliens arriving from Mexico and Canada at the land border of the United States on or after the effective date of the rule who were physically present in either of those countries for any length of time during the 14-day period preceding their apprehension or encounter by DHS and then placed in expedited removal proceedings are ineligible for asylum in the United States during the duration of the public health emergency caused by COVID-19.
