Title: ●Revisions to Streamline Reporting on the Form 5500 ("Reforming the Form 5500")
Abstract:

The last major revision of the Form 5500 Annual Return/Report was proposed in 2006 and finalized in 2007, effective for the 2009 form series. This deregulatory action would modernize and streamline reporting requirements to improve the utility and accuracy of reported data and to eliminate repetitive or unnecessary reporting. These revisions are intended to simplify annual reporting requirements and provide improved data for enforcement and plan participants.
