Title: Test Procedures for Automatic Commercial Ice Makers
Abstract:

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is examining an effort to determine whether amendments to the automatic commercial ice maker test procedures are warranted. Consistent with the Energy Policy and Conservation Act (EPCA), as amended, DOE may propose and amend the test procedure for this equipment or issue a determination that no amendments to the current test procedure are required. Once completed, this rulemaking will fulfill DOE’s statutory obligation to either propose amended test procedures for this equipment or determine that the existing standards do not need to be amended.
