Title: Test Procedures for Direct Heating Equipment | |
Abstract:
The Energy Policy and Conservation Act (EPCA), as amended by the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007, requires the Secretary to review test procedures for direct heating equipment and pool heaters at least once every seven years and either: (1) amend test procedures, if the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) determines that amended test procedures would more accurately or fully comply with the statutory requirements; or (2) publish in the Federal Register a determination not to amend the test procedure. Once completed, this rulemaking will fulfill DOE’s statutory obligation to either propose amended test procedures for this product or determine that the existing test procedures do not need to be amended. |
