Title: Implementation of Household Goods Working Group Recommendations | |
Abstract: Section 5503 of the FAST Act required that the Secretary establish a Working Group for the purpose of developing recommendations on how to best convey relevant information on Federal laws concerning the interstate transportation of household goods by motor carriers to consumers. The proposed recommendations would offer streamlined documentation requirements for interstate household goods motor carriers and household goods brokers, and improve consumer education and protection for individuals in need of their services, and combat fraud. | |
