Abstract: In this annual rulemaking, FMCSA publishes a final rule to address technical, organizational, and conforming amendments to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. The amendments made in this final rule merely correct inadvertent errors and omissions, remove obsolete references, and make minor editorial changes to improve clarity and consistency. The technical amendments do not impose any new requirements, nor do they make any substantive changes to the CFR. For these reasons, FMCSA finds good cause for not issuing an NPRM; the nature of the changes makes advance notice and comment unnecessary.
