Title: ●Low Volume Manufacturers Exemptions From Average Fuel Economy Standards | |
Abstract:
This rulemaking would respond to petitions filed by several low volume manufacturers requesting exemption from the generally applicable corporate average fuel economy (CAFE) standards for model years 2008-2023. NHTSA will assess whether to exempt these manufacturers from the generally applicable CAFE standards for these model years, and propose to establish alternative standards for each individual manufacturer. |
