Title: ●Correcting Amendment 49 CFR Section 571.214, Side Impact Protection, and 49 CFR Section 571.226, Ejection Mitigation 
Abstract:

This final rule makes technical corrections to two Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSSs). First, it reinserts text mistakenly removed from S6.1.3 of FMVSS No. 214, Side impact protection, 49 CFR 571.214, when the standard was published in the Code of Federal Regulations. Second, it corrects a drafting error NHTSA made when it adopted FMVSS No. 226, Ejection mitigation, 49 CFR 571.226, regarding a vehicle type the Agency meant to exclude from the standard.
