Abstract:

The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) is proposing modification of an existing OPM regulation found at 5 CFR part 317, subpart I, to clarify the regulation to better reflect the statutory intent, and the distinction between intra-agency reassignments and interagency transfers of career Senior Executive Service (SES) personnel as stated in the statute, 5 USC 3395(a)(1)(B).
