FAR RIN: 9000-AO14 Publication ID: Fall 2020
Title: ●Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR); FAR Case 2020-014, United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement
Abstract:

DoD, GSA, and NASA are proposing to amend the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to implement the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement Implementation Act (Pub. L. 116-113). The United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) supersedes the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), therefore references to NAFTA will be replaced with USMCA. Additionally, Canada is no longer a Free Trade Agreement country because chapter 13 of the USMCA applies only to the United States and Mexico, therefore references to Canada as a Free Trade Agreement county will be deleted.
