Title: Commissary Credit and Debit Card User Fee | |
Abstract:
This rule extends access to DoD commissary stores and morale, welfare, and recreation (MWR) facilities, and authorizes the collection of fees to offset the costs associated with the increase in credit or debit card transactions. It implements section 621 of the John S. McCain National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2019, which establishes a user fee on individuals eligible solely under 10 U.S.C. 1065 when using a credit or debit card to pay for commissary purchases. |
