Title: Importation, Exportation and Transportation of Wildlife; Designated Ports Authorized for the Importation or Exportation of Wildlife
Abstract:

The Service proposes to expand the list of designated ports, authorized for the importation or exportation of wildlife in order to obtain FWS inspection and clearance of wildlife, from 17 to 46. In particular, we propose to revise the list by adding 25 designated ports currently acting as nondesignated ports, 16 of which are along the U.S.-Canadian border and the U.S.-Mexican border, and by adding 3 new designated ports at Kona, Hawaii, Norfolk, Virginia, and Orlando Florida. Finally, the Service proposes 15 designated ports that will be authorized for the importation or exportation of live venomous reptiles and 18 designated ports that will be authorized for the importation and exportation of live nonhuman primates.
