This rule would clarify the processes for appeals of actions taken by officials in the Office of the Assistant Secretary Indian Affairs (AS-IA), Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), Bureau of Indian Education (BIE), and Office of the Special Trustee for American Indians (OST) (collectively, Indian Affairs (IA)).
