Title: Test Procedure for Uninterruptible Power Supplies
Abstract:

The Energy Policy and Conservation Act, as amended, (EPCA) prescribes test procedures and energy conservation standards for various consumer products, including uninterruptible power supplies, which DOE is treating as a class of battery charger. This proposed rulemaking would, among other things, modify and clarify certain requirements related to the existing test procedure for battery chargers codified in appendix Y of subpart B of 10 CFR 430.
