Title: Chronic Beryllium Disease Prevention Program
Abstract:

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is amending its current chronic beryllium disease prevention program regulation. The amendments would improve and strengthen the current provisions that are applicable to DOE Federal and contractor employees who are, were, or potentially exposed to beryllium at DOE sites. DOE plans to reopen the NPRM to consider adopting the Occupational Safety and Health Administration's short-term exposure limit for Beryllium.
