Abstract:
Section 32305 of the Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21 Century Act (MAP-21), amended 49 U.S.C. section 31311 to require States to implement a system and practices for the exclusive electronic exchange of driver history record information through the Commercial Driver's License Information System (CDLIS), including the posting of convictions, withdrawals, and disqualifications, not later than one year after the date of enactment of the Commercial Motor Vehicle Safety Enhancement Act of 2012. The rulemaking will require the exclusive electronic exchange of driver history record information. |
