Title: ●Center for Innovation for Care and Payment Update | |
Abstract:
Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) amends its regulations to modify the organizational alignment of the Center for Innovation for Care and Payment (the Center) to the VHA. The move of the Center from the VA Office of Enterprise Integration (OEI) to VHA Office of Discovery, Education and Affiliate Networks (DEAN) will facilitate more efficient daily operations, while continuing to maintain agency-wide connections across the VA. This move ensures that the pilots managed by the Center are not redundant of or conflicted by ongoing innovation efforts within the VHA. To reflect this change, the mentioned Proposed Rule revises 38 CFR 17.450(a)(2). This move will allow the Center to leverage the well-established practices of advancing innovation through the VA innovation lifecycle developed. |
