Title: Class II Minimum Internal Control Standards | |
Abstract:
The National Indian Gaming Commission (NIGC or Commission) is considering updating the minimum internal control standards for gaming equipment used with the play of Class II games and to ensure that the regulations continue to meet the needs of the Indian gaming industry. The Commission periodically revises these standards to ensure uniformity among its regulated entities, safeguard the integrity of the industry, and protect consumers. This rulemaking updates the minimum internal control standards for gaming equipment associated with Class II gaming to ensure they meet the ever-changing needs of the Indian gaming industry and is designed to keep regulated entities in line with current technology, ensure the costs and benefits of the Government’s regulation of such parties is balanced, and safeguard the integrity of the Indian gaming industry. |
