NTSB | RIN: 3147-AA25 | Publication ID: Spring 2021 |
Title: Appearances and Rights of Witnesses, and Notice of Hearing. | |
Abstract:
During the pendency of the COVID-19 pandemic, the NTSB's Office of Administrative Law Judges (OALJ) has conducted remote hearings on airmen and mariner appeals. This initiative has been successful; therefore, to assure flexibility into the enforcement process, the NTSB is considering amending 49 CFR 821.6(a) and 821.37(a) by adding language to explicitly allow for both in-person and virtual hearings. |
