Title: Noncompetitive Appointment of Certain Military Spouses 
Abstract:

The U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) is modifying the regulations which will modify the provisions governing the recruitment and employment of certain military spouses in Federal agencies, in accordance with intervening amendments to 5 U.S.C. 3330d and Executive Order 13832 Enhancing Noncompetitive Civil Service Appointments of Military Spouses among other things, this rule broadens the eligibility criteria for appointment of military spouses, restricts the number of appointments spouses of 100 percent disabled and spouses of deceased members of the Armed Forces may receive under this hiring authority; and adds agency reporting requirements.
